How We Made a Goose Egg Incubator From an Old Refrigerator

Welcome back to the Zagao channel. In today’s video, we are transforming an old refrigerator into a homemade goose egg incubator. Instead of throwing away an old fridge, we converted it into a functional incubation machine for goose eggs using simple workshop tools and temperature control components. First, we cleaned the refrigerator and removed the unnecessary shelves and plastic parts. The insulated refrigerator body helps maintain stable internal temperatures, making it ideal for incubation. Next, we drilled ventilation holes to improve airflow and installed a circulation fan to distribute heat evenly throughout the incubator. We then added a heating system connected to a digital thermostat and adjusted the temperature to: 37.5∘C An egg turning mechanism was also installed to rotate the goose eggs during the incubation process. Goose eggs usually hatch within: 30−32 days This homemade incubator is a practical and low-cost solution for small farms, workshops, and poultry enthusiasts.
